FAI-Eastern Region organized a seminar on Sustaining Soil Health through Balanced Fertilisation - Need for Reforms in Fertiliser Policy at Bhubaneswar on 27th July 2016. Mr. Anupam Bose, Joint Director of Agriculture (Fertilisers), Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar inaugurated the workshop. Dr. Gagnesh Sharma, Regional Director, National Centre for Organic Farming, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India was the guest of honour. Forty two delegates representing senior officials from fertiliser industry; Department of Agriculture, Government of Odisha and Scientists from Agricultural University, ICAR and international institutions attended the workshop.
