Microwave-induced synthesis of fluorine containing 1,5-disubstituted hydantoins and thiohydantoins and their antibacterial activity

摘要

Ten new fluorine containing 1,5-disubstituted hydantoins/thiohydantoi-ns 3 have been synthesized by a microwave-assisted solvent-free condensation of arylglyoxals 1 and phenylurea/thiourea 2 using acidic alumina as a solid support.These compounds have been characterized on the basis of elemental analysis,IR,~1H NMR and MS.Compounds have been evaluated for their antibacterial activity.
