THE SOUTH-WEST MONSOON is the lifeline of Indian agriculture.About 70% of the total rainfall is received during the S-W monsoon (June-September).Besides Kharif,the fate of the Rabi crops also depends on the performance of the S-W monsoon to a great extent.
