Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd is relentlessly motivating farmers to access technological advances to make best use of their resources including plant nutrients and water. Considering demonstrations as one of the most effective and convincing mode of extension, Zuari facilitated and trained a sugarcane farmer Mr Krishnakant Chavan from Shirapur village in Mohol taluka of Solapur district; to adopt technological interventions appropriate to his situation. To demonstrate the technology and results of the demonstration, a field day was organized on 25th September 2014 at Shirapur village.
