The changing face of rural development funding

How EEDA plans to deliver 65 million to businesses under the new Rural Development Programme for England. Since the start of the year rural businesses and communities in the East of England have had access to a share of 65 million of funding. The money has been provided jointly by the European Commission and Defra as part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and is to help improve the competitiveness of the region's agricultural and forestry sector and to enhance sustainable rural businesses.
