The production of N at 1.086 million tonnes and P2O5 at 0.352 million tonnes registered marginal decline of 0.5% and 1.1%, respectively, during July 2013 over July 2012. Among the major fertilisers the production of Urea increased marginally by 0.2%, during July 2013 over July 2012. However, production of DAP and NP/ NPK complex fertilisers declined by 3.3% and 2.3%, respectively, during the same period. Production of N and P2O5 fell short by 70.6 and 70.3 thousand tonnes, from the respective targets during July 2013. The capacity utilisation of N and P2O5 declined from 101.4% and 68.8%, during July 2012 to 98.8% and 67.7%, respectively, during July 2013.
