During the summer period there is a chance of forest fire occurring in the nearby forest or in the vicinity of the coffee estate. Hence as a precaution, fire paths have to be created around the estate by clearing all the dried leaves, dead tree remains, branches etc. in order to prevent the fire from spreading to the estate. Continuation of harvesting and processing The harvesting can be continued as explained earlier in the month of December and January.
