Field experiments were conducted at the experimental farm of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya during rainy season of 2009 and 2010 to study the effect of conjunctive use of chemical fertilizers and organic along with bio-organics on productivity of rice in a rainfed lowland situation. Application of 100% N, P_2O_5 and K_2O at the recommended rate of 80 kg N and 40 kg each of P_2O_5 and K_2Oha~(-1) in combination with 5 tonnes well composted farm yard manure ha~(-1) and 2.5 kg zinc ha~(-1) increased yield attributes of rice and uptake of nutrients over sole application of 100% recommended doses of N, P205 and K_2O, which lead to 11.01% higher grain yield of rice and showed positive balance sheet of nutrients. This treatment combination proves the most superior combination over all other combination in all yield attributes and grain yield, thus holds a good promise in integrated nutrient management of rice.
