Software improves vehicle development, manufacturing and supply chain processes

In a major deal in the automotive industry, Volkswagen is using Siemens PLM Software for its entire worldwide vehicle design and manufacturing process. Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product life-cycle management (PLM) software and services, has received a major order from Volkswagen for delivery and implementation of its Teamcenter product data management (PDM) software.
