Pulsed wire method and undulator field measurement

摘要

In this paper, a pulsed wire magnetic measurement system is de scribed. The magnetic field profile of a three-period undulator is measured in this set-up. The end half magnets of the undulator are removed to study its effect on the field mapping. The non-uniformities in the undulator introduces distortions to the wave excited in the pulsed wire and affects the performance of the method.
