Festo - New options in motion control

A new intelligent control module from Festo accommodates multiple electric drives for coordinated movement. Festo will launch a new intelligent multi-axis control module for electric drives at the Machine Building show which takes place at the NEC on the 25th and 26th March. Nigel Dawson, electric drives product manager at Festo says: "The new CPX-CMXX module is a highly integrated plug-in unit designed for use with Festo's renowned CPX series of multifunctional control terminals. Many machine builders already use the CPX platform for pneumatic control and electrical I/O. This new module allows designers to directly integrate the control of multiple electrical axes into the CPX.
