摘要

The experiment was conducted with the aim in view of determining the growth and quality of anthurium cutflower as influenced by growing media, GA3 concentration and slow-release fertilizer (osmocote). The different growing media were: chopped coconuthusk (CCH) (control), chopped coconut husk + rice hull (CCH + RH), chopped coconut husk + rain tree leaf mold (CCH + RTLM), and chopped coconut husk + wood shaving (CCH + WS). Incorporation of RH, RTLM and WS to CCH and the application of GA3 and slow-release fertilizer promoted production of anthurium cutflower. CCH + RTLM applied with 250 ppm GA3 and slow-release fertilizer significantly advanced flower formation, attainment of full unfurling of flower spathe and harvesting. Same treatment combination produced flowers with longer stalk, longer and wider spathe and longer spadix. Bigger flower spathe is preferred by customer.
