People within the fields of agriculture broadly, and animal science spe- ' cifically, sometimes struggle to effectively communicate with the general 1 public about important topics such as where their food comes from. Food 1 producers are more efficient now at providing safe, nutritious, and afford- 1 able meat, milk, and eggs for the US consumer than at any time in history. So, why does concern exist within the livestock and poultry sectors about the future of food production?
