摘要

We analyze the friction-velocity-normalized turbulence kinetic energy(En) in the near-ground atmospheric layer over urbanized territory. Based on the field measurements, we studied the dependence of En on the mean wind direction and the stratification type. Different En models are considered and compared with experimental data. It is found that the En models used do not provide the required simulation quality under the conditions encountered in field experiments. Hopefully, En will be adequately simulated taking into account not only the mean wind direction and the current stratification type but also some other wind flow characteristics.
