Asia etac may extend gains from 13 month high

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--Ethyl acetate (etac) prices in Asia may extend gains after reaching a 13-month high on the back of firmer raw material prices, market participants said on Thursday. Etac prices were assessed at an average of $702.50/tonne FOB China for the two weeks ended 4 November, the highest close since October 2015, according to data compiled by ICIS. The prices began to rally in mid-September after sinking to a low of $610/tonne FOB China.
