Terex Cranes has introduced its largest capacity truck cranes, which combine lift capabilities with special operating features designed to increase performance and productivity. The initial release of Terex's T700 series is the T790, which has a maximum lifting capacity of 81.6t and which, with its five-section dual mode full power boom, stretches to a maximum length of 42.1m. Two swing-on jib options are available: 9.68m or 10.15m to 17.3m, with the latter taking the maximum tip height to 61.6m. The T790's boom features an externally mounted, primary extend cylinder. Mounting the cylinder external to the boom saves valuable weight and is said to make inspection and maintenance quicker and easier.
