Schunk has significantly expanded its WSG series of servo-electric two-finger parallel grippers, with a long-stroke version and a compact small parts gripper. Versatile, sensitive and extremely simple, the WSG series boasts a long, flexibly definable stroke that allows alternated and reliable handling of different components with a gripping force that can be precisely controlled via the power supply. Moreover, the gripper is reportedly the first of its kind that incorporates integrated gripped part detection and an integrated gripping force control system.
