The last few articles I've written have been about hardrock mining. and I've continued to head in that direction for now. I'm a placer and hardrock miner so I know about both. I like the old saying that goes along the lines of"... the more you know, the less you understand." That's really true. When I began full-time mining 35 years ago, I thought I knew quite a bit after the first few years. Then I realized that I knew practically nothing, and I've continued to prove that to myself more than once! I think we never stop learning in mining and it will always be a challenge.
