This is the last update you will see with this title. The Minerals and Mining Advisory Council (MMAC) and Public Lands for the People (PLP) are becoming separate entities with differing, but somewhat related goals. MMAC will become a limited liability corporation while PLP will remain a non-profit. Clark Pearson, Donald Fife, Joe Martori, Bill Jensen, and affiliate Chuck Cushman will be the driving force behind MMAC. We expect new elections to be held for PLP shortly. We'll publish those results when we get them and we will report on each group separately when there is new information to pass on to our readers.
