Detached Leaf Techniques : A New Method for Screening Wheat Cultivars by Using Toxins

摘要

Pathogenic microorganisms release toxic substance which are related to post specifically toxins seems to play an important role in host recognition at the site of initial contact of germinating spores on host surface thus, enabling the pathogen in establishing the disease symptoms. In the present study, toxin, crude toxin and spores suspension were taken and see how they produce the symptoms in laboratory conditions which is very easy and quick method for screening the cultivars.
