Simpson takes on BIA'S top job

Kate Simpson describes herself and husband Graham as traditional beef producers. The owners of a typical family farm on tthe Red Gum Plains of East Gippsland in Victoria, Kate says she has never sought to put herself on the cutting edge of beef production. It is a relevant point considering Kate, as the newly elected national president of the Beef Improvement Association of Australia, believes her biggest challenge is making the BIA more appealing to everyday beef producers.
