The Incitec Pivot story: co-op to world trader

At the 2007 Monash Agribusiness Leadership Forum, Incitec Pivot chairman John Watson presented a personal perspective on the history of the company. It is a story that starts on his dairy farm and ends in the board room of one of Australia's best-performing agribusinesses. The Incitec Pivot story began around 1920 with establishment of two very different fertiliser companies. I will focus on Pivot, simply because the Incitec Pivot Company is the successor company of Pivot Limited. And 1 know a lot more about Pivot.
