'AM McGilvray II': Marine Rescue NSW takes on another Steber

'AM McGilvray II' is the second of four vessels ordered to be built, commissioned and delivered to Marine Rescue NSW by Stebercraft. 'AM McGilvray II' was named after Alan and Margaret McGilvray, who were founding members of the Shoalhaven Anglers club, which was the radio club for the local anglers. They purchased a boat around 30 to 40 years ago which became the start of Shoalhaven Marine Rescue. Although similar to the first vessel, delivered to Batemans Bay three months ago, this vessel has additional items installed, requested by head office, which include a cockpit canopy for sun protection, modifications to the chart table and additional electronics.
