Water management aids farm productivity in dry times

Bundaberg growers Trevor and Laurel Walden have maintained high levels of farm productivity and efficiency during a period of low sugar prices and dry seasons by recycling water into farm dams via a system of surface and subsurface drains. They rotate sugarcane with horticultural crops on their Burnett Heads farm.
