WFA: Quantity questioned but quality assured

AUSTRALIA'S 2011 ANNUAL crush results defied predictions of a significant harvest drop and rose by an estimated 1 per cent, but few in the industry are celebrating. The Winemakers' Federation of Auslralia released its annual Vintage Report last month, revealing a final crush estimate of 1.62 million tonnes, with white grapes outstripping red for the first time since 2007.
