As With Africa's chronic power problems continuing to cripple countries across the continent, a world supplier of temporary power and temperature control has warned that South America is heading down a similar path.Aggreko's head of business development Andy Walker told Paydirt that the number of power stations being decommissioned far outweighed those coming online.With South America the latest fad for exploration and development companies, rising living standards across Latin America was further fuelling the situation."The power demand from domestic consumption is drastically increasing while the main consumption is coming from industrial users such as mining companies.
