GROWING flowers is no walk in the tulips, so to speak. No one could testify to this more than Gwen Humphris (pictured). Regarded as one of Victoria's matriarch's of Australian horticulture, Mrs Humphris, has battled through tough times to bring Humphris Nursery, established since 1879, to its current position as an industry leader, selling more than 2 million plants across Australia annually.
