After completing the Kibali gold mine ramp-up and with a less than stellar project pipeline in front of him, Randgold Resources Ltd chief executive Mark Bris-tow is preparing for his next move. In his strongest indication yet that the newly minted 1 mozpa gold producer is ready to return to M&A circles, Bristow said: "We will probably play a part in the inevitable restructuring of the gold sector. Improved production and grade is expect ed over the next five years and a strong drop off in capex will allow us to seek out the next opportunity."
