Australia's most significant review into Indigenous training and employment programmes is under way. The review intends to end the employment disparity that exists between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and provide recommendations on how to better connect unemployed Indigenous Australians with real and sustainable jobs. Headed by mining magnate Andrew Forrest and parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister, MP Alan Trudge, the review team has had more than 300 submissions to consider ahead of its report to Prime Minister Tony Abbott in April.
