Improvement of ECG Analysis for Monitoring of Cardiac Electrical Activity

Diseases of the cardiovascular system (CVS) are the leading factor of mortality. Myocardial damage should be evaluated to assess the state of the CVS. The area of myocardial damage up to 6 cm2 can be estimated using methods of computer tomography and cardiography [8J. Because the area of the average male heart is 385 cm2 , this accounts for 1.5%. These methods are not applicable to express screening diagnosis because they require expensive equipment, complex methods, and high skill of medical personnel. The ECG is the most popular method of evaluation of CVS activity.
