Value Addition Growth Decreases to 10.2% in September

The China National Bureau of Statistics reported that the total value added by industrial enterprises larger than a designated size in September 2013 was up 10.2% year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month. Thirty-nine of 41 industrial divisions kept year-on-year growth, among which the growth of the textile industry was 8.9%, or 0.8 percentage points greater than the previous month. The total value added during January-September 2013 grew by 9.6%, of which the textile industry was up 9.2%.
