Applying treated wastewater to land.

Land treatment methods for municipal and industrial waste water are described including slow rate, overland flow and rapid infiltration. Examples are given of how these systems are being used to irrigate forestland in Dalton, Georgia; to recharge soil aquifers in Mesa, Arizona; and to recycle food processing waste water in Central Valley, California (USA).
