The reactions of the citrate ligand C6H6O7Na2,1.5H(2)O With cupric sulphate CuSO4,5H(2)O for two stoichiometries (citrate/Cu2+ = 1/2 and 1/1) have been characterised by chemical analysis, conductimetric measurements, infrared spectroscopy and cyclic voltamperometry. It has been shown that these reactions yield the following complexes: [CuC6H6O7SO4]Na-2,6H(2)O and [Cu(2)C(6)H(6)O(7)mu SO4],6H(2)O. [References: 8]
