Toray Acquiring Zoltek

Toray Industries, Inc. has agreed to purchase the entire stake in Zoltek Companies, Inc. of the U.S, which is engaged in the sales and manufacture of large tow carbon fibers, at US$16.75 per share (total amount: approximately US$584 million). Toray will make it a wholly owned subsidiary in order to enter the large tow carbon fiber business.
