Textile & Apparel Business in 2002

摘要

It is difficult to predict textile & apparel business in 2002. There are political factors causing disorder such as simultaneous terrorist attacks in the U.S.and a Afghanistan war. It is also difficult to predict the economic situation in the U.S., a gigantic textile consuming country. As for Japan, continuation of the sluggish economy is strongly expected. The presence of China as a producing and consuming country has become larger, and increasing interest is placed on how much it will continue to grow.
