Michael Burt, director of industrial economic trends with the Conference Board of Canada, was the keynote speaker at the 97th Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Woodlands Forum in Moncton on April 6. It was, overall, a good, sunny forecast with storm clouds gathering about six months out, followed by an extended bit of turbulence, capped off by a long-term clearing trend.
