Elengy to decide on French terminal

French LNG terminal operator Elengy will decide in 2017 on whether to extend operations at the 2.2mn t/yr Fos Tonkin terminal beyond 2020. Elengy intends to operate the Mediterranean coast terminal, which is the oldest and smallest in France, until 2020 to fulfil existing contracts. But the decision to continue operations until at least 2024 will be based on market interest, the firm says.
