Albania offers exploration blocks

Albanian national resources agency AKBN has invited applications for oil and gas exploration at seven of the country’s 15 unassigned blocks. Interested firms have until 15 June to submit offers for blocks 4 and 5, in southern Albania, and Dumre, in the centre of the country. A bidding deadline of 25 June has been set for two other onshore blocks, Panaja and block C, and offshore contract areas Joni 5 and Rodoni.
