Yara and Mosaic have rolled over the Tampa price for May to settle at $580/t cfr, which has come as no surprise to the industry. In the domestic market, ammonia application in the south has fnished. In the northern Midwest region, application is now fully underway while activity in the southern Midwest Corn Belt regions is fast concluding. Phosphate producer appetite for additional spot cargoes has slowed and buyers are focused only on acquiring through their contracts. There is also a lack of spot offers in the market.
