Prices are stable in the US market this week with winter weather conditions blanketing much of the country discour- aging demand. Limited trade occurred within last week’s range of $445-449/st fob Nola, with loaded barges trading earlier in the week at the high end. Offers slowly dropped on scant buying interest as the week progressed, but prices largely held their ground. DAP is currently in limited supply and upcoming import tonnage has not been viewed as being substantial enough to heavily pressure prices given a likely early-to-normal spring season and expectations for relatively normal grower demand.
