Indian fertilizer producer IFFCO has issued letters of intent to suppliers Fertrade and Aries regarding its purchase tender for 1,500t of water-soluble SOP. The LOI given to Fertrade is for 1,000t of SOP, while that issued to Aries is for 250t, both at a price of $407/t cfr in 9.5kg bags. The remaining 250t of the tender has yet to be allocated, although RNZ is thought to be the most likely supplier.
