Research and extensive commercial experience has proven the superior bioavailability of HMTBa-chelated trace minerals (Mintrex). A growing number of nutritionists are revaluating their trace mineral programs and are using 'reduce and replace' - replacing all (at approximately 25% of commercial inorganic levels) or some of the ITMs with HMTBa-chelated trace minerals to avoid the problem of antagonisms while maintaining or sometimes improving performance. By providing a more bioavailable source of minerals, supplementation with HMTBa chelated trace minerals it has been shown to exert a variety of positive structural effects, including enhanced bone and tissue strength as well as elasticity, while improving animal welfare.
