Tiberon Minerals Ltd announced results (March 6) from its latest round of drilling on the Nui Phao exploration license in northern Vietnam. Drilling has focussed on a geophysical anomaly, the Da Lien Prospect, which extends for 2 km east-west and is open ended. Assays from this latest round of drilling have returned tungsten trioxide (WO(3)) values of up to 1.1 percent over 20 m on drill holes spaced over a 1.3 km strike length.According to the company these results suggest excellent potential for a high grade near surface tungsten-polymetallic resource and the tungsten grades encountered to date"are better than most operating tungsten mines worldwide, of which the vast majority are underground".
