In recent years, wastewater treatment facilities, like those of other industries that rely on dynamic sampling programmes, have had to implement far more rigorous testing. But unlike other industries like oil and gas, or food manufacturing, the challenges facing wastewater treatment facilities haven't come from stricter regulations or standards, but from a fundamental change in the wastewater stream itself.
