Solvay to acquire specialty polymers business from Gharda Chemicals

Solvay has entered an agreement for the acquisition of the polymers division of Gharda Chemicals in India,providing the French company's specialty polymers business unit with its first industrial base in India.The acquisition mainly provides Solvay a global platform for the development,manufacturing,and marketing of a new range of specialty grades of ultra-high performance polymers such as PEEK,high performance sul-fones,and related monomers.
