Premier and Petronas in Myanmar swap

Petronas International Corporation (PICL),a wholly owned subsidiary of Petronas,has completed the transfer of its 25% interest in Premier Oil for the latter's interests in producing fields in Myanmar and Indonesia.The transaction effectively cancelled PICL's 25% shareholding in Premier while at the same time boosting PICL's interest in the Yetagun Gas Project in Myanmar from 30% to 40.9%,with PICL assuming operatorship of the project.
