Petronas invited to team up in deepwater

Petronas has clarified the status of the South China Sea offshore exploration areas formerly designated block L and block M. The move followed execution of an exchange of letters between Malaysia and Brunei in March which declared these prospects no longer part of Malaysia, terminating the production sharing contracts held by Petronas Carigali and Murphy Oil.
