Pakistan discovery for PPL

Pakistan Petroleum Ltd (PPL) has discovered oil and gas at its onshore Gambat South Block in the Sanghar district of Pakistan’s southern Sindh province. The Faiz X-1 exploration well was drilled to test the potential of the Lower Guru formation. This latest find is PPL’s fifth discovery in the Gambat South Block. During a drill stem test, the well flowed at 8,460 Mcf/d of gas and 115 boe/d of oil and condensate, PPL said.
