Australia’s largest oil and gas producer Woodside Petroleum will cut around 300 jobs this year and also freeze all salaries as it looks to contain costs in response to the sharp fall in oil prices. “Woodside has completed a business review to address the impact of the downturn in the commodities market. The out-come is that about 300 roles will be made redundant,” Woodside said.
