Thai courts rejected on 9 December a bid to scuttle the sale of Thai Petrochemical Industry (TPI),the country's largest corporate debtor,to a government-linked consortium.TPI founder Prachai Leophai-ratana had charged that the shares were being sold too cheaply to a consortium led by state-owned oil and gas major PTT Pcl.
